If you haven’t watched, you should. It’s lovely…
Parisian Love – Google Love
Monday, February 8th, 2010Deco Society Collection
Thursday, February 4th, 2010Aside from the design my favorite part about this collection is the name. I’m an art history buff so any references make me happy, thus we have the Deco Society collection of pieces. You know I’m not a big fan of feathers because they make me sneeze, but they are ethereal and pretty… and they really are in demand right now. I love the piece above tucked into the low side of a messy bun- you can just see a hint of the feathers from the front- very pretty.
If you prefer no feathers… the unadorned version.
I wear the gold and turquoise version of the Deco Society earrings all the time. Very pretty…
Temperley London
Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010A high waisted dress glittering with jewels…so glamorous. I’m positively in love with the headpiece as well…I’m in a fan girl state of mind right now! The Temperley London bridal collection is really so beautiful, so full of detail and beautiful fabrics too. Look at the back detail and you can see the soft pink color of the silk. I’ve now got a new designer to ogle.
I’ve spent all week working in Photoshop and putting up new designs. I took down a few older ones and messed a bunch of stuff up behind the scenes…sigh. I’ve got a ton of new things to show and talk about. I’m just slow as always. I have a post planned for tomorrow to show a collection called the Deco Society…best name ever! Until then…
Style Me Pretty
Monday, February 1st, 2010
Today we began a new campaign on the gorgeously chic wedding blog Style Me Pretty. It’s not our first time with them, but it is our first time rotating ads, so I am quite interested to see our Google stats for today. If you’re not familiar with SMP go over and have a look. You’ll find the most stylish and insanely beautiful weddings. I mean really, they have an eye for the best and celebrate it so beautifully. Thanks to my husband for changing the color of “Naugi” for me about 10 times. He’s beautiful too!
New for Spring – The Luvabow Collection
Monday, February 1st, 2010This is without question my new favorite design! I know I say this often, but this bow is just so sweet, and looks gorgeous tucked in the side of a messy bun. Really very perfect. The cuff bracelets are a new addition to line that I am quite smitten with. I have a headband version of this design. Sadly, it didn’t make it to the photo shoot last week. The bow is set asymmetrically on the band. Very cute. Email me if interested. Thanks to Paula for for tweeting me the fabulous name of “Luvabow”! More new designs to follow soon…
Pretty Frocks from ModCloth and… Pug Talk
Tuesday, January 26th, 2010ModCloth began as a vintage clothing site, but has now evolved into a mix of new retro indie clothing and vintage. It’s possible I was sold on this site when looking at the “about us” section, which shows a picture of the owners holding their pug. Also, on their blog there is A LOT of pug talk. If you follow me on Twitter you know I love my PUG. Beyond all the pug talk ModCloth has some really beautiful designs which would be lovely for a rehearsal dinner or shower. I love finding companies that show their fun side!
Designer’s Notebook – January Edition
Friday, January 22nd, 2010I have black velvet pads all over the studio with messily arranged sparkly things, most are finished, a few are unfinished, and some just have pieced together ideas- thus, they are my notebooks. I began organizing all the new designs today for a photo shoot I’m planning next week and I am a bit overwhelmed! Recently we got a new computer that doesn’t support the Canon digital software I use to take photos with, so…a lot of new designs have accumulated. Trust, it was an ugly mess which involved a few tears, and a determined and super smart hubby. We’re back on track now and I can’t wait to have all the new pieces up online soon. The pieces shown above are remnants of the “notebooks”. They are new and not available online yet, but as usual if you see something you like just let me know.
In other news I am super excited about our new campaign which will go up on Style Me Pretty in February. Speaking of…did anyone happen to see the guest post by erin ever after on Style Me Pretty today? I was floored by the emerald Gucci dress the bride wore in her Mexican wedding. Just so gorgeous, really…I love when fashion collides so well with weddings!
Have a great weekend!
{ I Love_____ } – Fill in the Blank Cards
Wednesday, January 20th, 2010Fill in the blank cards are just about the sweetest idea ever! I love the simple design of the cards which could be used for Valentine’s Day of course, but wouldn’t it be lovely to give one to your fiance, say once a month, in the months leading up to your wedding?! I want to get the mini Valentines at the bottom for my son…I love the one that say “You are my Sunshine”. Cards by Little Aviary. So sweet…
Best Dressed at the Golden Globes
Monday, January 18th, 2010

I’m a fan of simplicity when it comes to award show fashion. Much of the fashion is so overdone that any underlying beauty gets lost. Not so with the presence of Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Aniston at last nights 2010 Golden Globes. Sandra Bullock’s Bottega Venetta rich purple gown was perfect against her skin tone and accented simply with jewels by Lorraine Schwartz. You can see a hint of her Casadei signature 3504 Triple Platform pumps peeking through at the bottom. So lovely! Jennifer Aniston was absolutely stunning in Valentino couture, Versace shoes (I love the black toe polish), and Fred Leighton jewels. An important thing about these two women is that they both seem comfortable with themselves and that in itself is beautiful. Well done, ladies!

Wear this…
