No other company knows how to get me to click from my inbox over to their website like Kate Spade. As if the ultra retro Carly shoes weren’t cool and sparkly enough on their own they always up the ante with presentation. I think these beautiful slingbacks would looks pretty great peeping out from under a wedding gown…

As I mentioned yesterday Kristen Stewart wore a House of Lavande cuff to the VMA awards on Sunday night. Curiosity sent me looking for more information and I LOVE what I found! I can’t believe I didn’t know about this fabulous company, which scours flea markets and estate sales around the world, looking for vintage collectible costume jewelry. My love of jewelry began in my grandmother’s jewelry box so I completely relate to the passion it surely takes to seek out these pieces. The House of Lavande website is filled with beautiful photography and a section where if you are so luckily inclined you can purchase one of their found treasures.
I just can’t tell you how much I LOVE the above four necklaces paired together. I’m tingling with excitement right now!
Not sure if I love the dress of the jewelry more, or if I just love the idea of lounging around looking so beautiful.
I take the dog, pool, the beautifully rolled hair, and the stunning green bracelet.
Hope you enjoy this find as much as I do!
Kristen Stewart’s brief appearance at last night’s MTV VMA Awards was perfect! She’s always stunning and was easily the best dressed last night, artfully wearing a soft slate Valentino dress from the Fall 2009 Ready-to-Wear line (LOVE the neck line), Rock & Republic heels, and a House of Lavande cuff. And the hair…she’s so cute! She knows fashion and never fails to dress when it matters. I’d love her even if I didn’t love the Twilight books. Yay, for a stunning appearance last night!
A closer look at the intricate detailing on the amazing Valentino dress and the super cute hair. LOVE!!!
More gorgeousness today from illustrator Anna Bond of Rifle Design. Her work is perfection to me- gorgeous, whimsical and her use of color is brilliant. Check out her blog for super cool DIY projects like the one I featured yesterday and check out her portfolio of illustrations, invitations, and save the dates as well. What a find!
