Deco Society Collection

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

deco-feathers-zo

Aside from the design my favorite part about this collection is the name. I’m an art history buff so any references make me happy, thus we have the Deco Society collection of pieces. You know I’m not a big fan of feathers because they make me sneeze, but they are ethereal and pretty… and they really are in demand right now. I love the piece above tucked into the low side of a messy bun- you can just see a hint of the feathers from the front- very pretty.

If you prefer no feathers… the unadorned version.

I wear the gold and turquoise version of the Deco Society earrings all the time. Very pretty…

naugi-300x250_blue-(2)

Today we began a new campaign on the gorgeously chic wedding blog Style Me Pretty. It’s not our first time with them, but it is our first time rotating ads, so I am quite interested to see our Google stats for today. If you’re not familiar with SMP go over and have a look. You’ll find  the most stylish and insanely beautiful weddings. I mean really, they have an eye for the best and celebrate it so beautifully. Thanks to my husband for changing the color of “Naugi” for me about 10 times. He’s beautiful too!

New for Spring – The Luvabow Collection

luvabowzo

luvabow_cuffzo

This is without question my new favorite design! I know I say this often, but this bow is just so sweet, and looks gorgeous tucked in the side of a messy bun. Really very perfect.  The cuff bracelets are a new addition to line that I am quite smitten with. I have a headband version of this design. Sadly, it didn’t make it to the photo shoot last week. The bow is set asymmetrically on the band. Very cute. Email me if interested. Thanks to Paula for for tweeting me the fabulous name of “Luvabow”! More new designs to follow soon…

I am Loving : A $4000 Giveaway on Style Me Pretty & Incredibly Sweet Crew Cuts

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

I wouldn’t change a thing about my own wedding in April 2004, but there are certainly things that I see that make me say “oh, I wish I could of had that”! Here are a few things I found yesterday that left me pining: There is an amazing (and I mean AMAZING) giveaway going on over at Style Me Pretty. Just announced yesterday…they are teaming up with Crate & Barrel to give away a $4000 gift certificate! Wow, that’s huge! The rooms I could have filled…

And then yesterday afternoon I was at J.Crew’s website considering this beach dress when I popped into Crew Cuts. Have a look at this flower girl dress so perfectly named Alison. I mean it is just so incredibly sweet that I literally said out loud “Ohhhhhh”! The cap sleeves, the bow, the silk taffeta are aptly called “utter perfection” in the product description. j_crew_flower_girl

To top it off Crew Cuts also has the most adorable satin ballet slippers I’ve ever seen. LOVE! I want to dress my nieces Sophia and Olivia in this dress and shoe ensemble so badly…too bad I don’t have a good reason to do so.

These are just a few incredible items that I am loving this week! Enjoy!

Secret Love Chandelier Earrings

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

secret_love

I am so excited to be introducing a new chandelier earring Secret Love! I’ve had this new design sitting on the shelf for a few months now just waiting to be photographed on a white background. I think photography may be another post all together which I will start thinking about…let me know if you have any specific questions about photographing jewelry (not that I’m an expert, but I do have a ton of experience).

Back to the earrings…they are just beautiful with the perfect weight and swing. I’d say they are a medium length at 2 1/4″ and would serve as the perfect compliment to a gown with subtle detailing.

As always please let me know if you have any questions or comments. Enjoy!

Naugi Designs Featured in Brides.com “Headpieces in Bloom” Story

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

bridescom_floral_story

I love this gorgeous image promoting Brides.com “Spring Weddings” story which features floral accents found in gowns and headpieces. I found out today that two Naugi pieces were used in their “Headpieces in Bloom” story! Yay, I love working with Brides.com and was so happy to see our Honeysuckle Rose Headpiece and Sugar Tyme Headband featured in the story!

honeysuckle

Honeysuckle Rose can be placed in back framing a large chignon or placed flat in front and off to one side. It’s a gorgeous vintage inspired piece that I love to recommend for an ethereal garden look.

sugartyme_hbThe Sugar Tyme Headband is one of my favorite designs and looks beautiful holding back long loose locks. I love the dense clusters of pearl blooms and was so happy to see it used for this story. Perfect!

How did you incorporate blooms into your spring wedding?
