Ever notice the delightful illustrations on Daily Candy? The artist behind the delicate watercolors is Swedish born Marie-Klara Gonzalez, or Miss Capricho. I think she must paint everything she’s sees, and dreams about. See more of her world, here. She quotes Dolcecity’s description of her observations- “a Swedish girl with Cuban roots looking for a home between dreams, vain hopes and little black dresses”. I think that’s a perfect description. Just Beautiful.

Kate Middleton made a beautiful, elegant, ultra romantic bride! Her wedding gown and reception gown, both by Sarah Burton, the creative director of British fashion house Alexander McQueen, exuded an understated romantic elegance. She was so gorgeous! I love that her style obviously reflected her own taste.  Any modern day bride could pull elements from her look- lace, soft romantic hair, understated tiara, or the in season flowers, for their own wedding. Above the fashion, she truly seemed happy and gracious toward the attention she received. Just lovely, and so adorable too!

Her Cartier tiara (on loan), was made in 1936 and was purchased by The Duke of York (King George VI) for his Duchess (The Queen Mother). Queen Elizabeth received the tiara from her mother on her 18th birthday. The sparkling tiara held Middleton’s transparent veil, made of ivory silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers.

I love tiaras and headbands just as much as any Princess! Our Night at the Museum Headband is one of my favorites… it’s not quite as tall as Kate’s, which makes it a bit more accessible to most brides. Oh… and it’s made with Swarovski crystal, rather than diamonds!

Are you planning on styling your look after Kate? Certainly, everyone should wear her smile. Beautiful!

May’s wish list is all about touches of gold, loose fitting garments to accommodate the baby bump, and a little vintage thrown in to keep things exciting. I haven’t worn a watch in about four years, which works for me most of the time, but honestly being on time is a challenge for me, so… I think it’s time to begin wearing one again. It can’t be too expensive because I am hopelessly hard on watches, bracelets, and rings… this over sized Fossil is perfect. I’m in love with this vintage Hermes bracelet. Unfortunately, it disappeared from my favorites on Etsy and I don’t remember the seller’s name. I’ll keep looking… I love it! I’m pretty sure if I get this flowy jersey chemise I might wear it every other day. Everyone in my life would like to see me wear something other than yoga pants for the next six months! And, the bag… well it speaks for itself, doesn’t it? So do the sparkly flats. I love scarves, even in summer. This light wight pale toned Julia Hill is a beauty. Lastly, the ring… I won’t get it because the price tag is um… just a bit high. Yes, it is, but isn’t the pear stone delicate and lovely?

I LOVE this dress (the bodice ruffle is swoon worthy), the belt, and the idea that this could be a perfect summer wedding dress… yes, please!

Photographer Jill Thomas and stylist Kami Christensen worked together to create this wedding styled after the theme of an elopement. And… I’m just in love. This dress is stunningly gorgeous and the ring bearer… well, let’s just say he reminds me a little bit of another four year old I know. So incredibly cute. I love the simplicity of the of the styling and the photography is gorgeous!
