I am really excited about the Starry Night Comb Set which is actually two pieces- one large flower and one small flower each on its’ own comb! I think they are meant to be together so I photographed them clustered and they will be sold together as a set. The finish is a smoke gray enamel with touches of brass left to show through. Other enamel colors are available such as white and custom colors are available upon request. As always silver and gold plating are an option for those who don’t like the painted look. As you can see the petals are covered in Swarovski crystal making a really beautiful and sparkly presentation!

A Sparkling Duo – The Starry Night Comb Set
Tuesday, April 14th, 2009Coming Soon: The Enameled Orchid with Sparkling Swarovski Pears
Friday, March 13th, 2009Coming soon (next week) and just in time for the gorgeous blooms of spring is the new Orchid Hair Ornament. It’s a lovely airy piece that looks playful placed flat in front and sort of sweeping over the side. Of course it’s is beautiful placed in back adorning a twist or chignon. The flowers are painted with enamel but are just as pretty left bare in silver or our pretty pale gold plating. It’s obvious how much I love the pear shaped Swarovski crystals because I’m using them in everything right now! There’s just so pretty with a glass like sparkle that I adore. Here’s a little detail for you:
I’ll update this post next week with a link to the product page for Orchid where it will be available for purchase. UPDATE: THE ORCHID BRIDAL HAIR ORNAMENT IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR ONLINE PURCHASE BY CLICKING HERE.
Will you be incorporating a floral element into your headpiece?
New This Week- Curls & Curves
Tuesday, February 17th, 2009A curl here, a twist there, beautiful lines- the Florence Hair Ornament is my pick of the week for new items. Wear in the front and off to the side for a vintage 20′s feel, or in back accenting a twist of hair. This might sounds kind of over the top, but two, even three of this design arranged together is really beautiful and very dramatic!
I’ll be back tomorrow to show you one of my favorite dress designs of the season by glamorous UK designer Jenny Packham. It’s the dress I would pair with Florence (or 3 Florences)!
Enjoy!

This Week in Color- Black is Back
Tuesday, February 10th, 2009
Wow! Isn’t this dark floral stem an absolute beauty?! The black paint set against a dark hair color creates a subtle and sparkly accent. I love the understated quality of this combination of a dark accessory and dark hair. On the flip side when set in light hair it becomes a lovely bold piece. I envision a low pony tail with the Black Beauty Hair Ornament tucked into the side. Gorgeous! Have you noticed the use of purple every where in fashion right now. I love it!
Enjoy!

New & Whimsical- French Lavender
Tuesday, January 6th, 2009The first new item for January, the French Lavender Hair Ornament, makes me long for summer, flowers, and a little sun (it’s pretty gloomy outside right now)! I designed it near the end of last summer as the garden began to drop its leaves and petals. I love the playful lines and Swarovski crystal pear “tear drops”. It started out as a brooch (and still could be definitely) but I laid it along side my pony tail and never looked back. The “bouquet like” organic design gradually splays out and looks gorgeous in the hair. I tucked the Lavender Bobby Pins in the other side to complete the look. I love the idea of adding something small like these pins to accompany a larger piece. The pins can be worn for years to come for special occasions and anniversaries. So lovely!
I hope you like the newest design! As always please feel free to let me know what you think…
Jessica
