I love the whimsy of feathers and have been very happy to see them popping up everywhere this season. I was so pleasantly taken when I saw this version of the little white dress from J.Crew. The Gwen dress is a perfect combination of some of my favorite things: a tailored cut of tweed and layers of chiffon, organza and tulle beaded with glass beads, sequins, and of course feathers. I would add a single Sabrina Bobby Pin from our Naugi collection to compliment the hair. This combination- the whimsical feathers, the tailored dress but not too serious length, the slight glitz of the jewels is perfect as maybe a second dress for late in the reception-LOVE it!

The Little White Feather Dress
Tuesday, July 14th, 2009Turquoise Swarovski Crystal
Wednesday, October 29th, 2008The Kingfisher Earrings & Parvana Bobby Pin are part of a limited edition group of pieces. Swarovski produced this very special opaque turquoise crystal. Both the bobby pin & earrings can be dressed up (rehearsal dinner- beach wedding) or dressed down (think jeans, a sleeveless black cowl-neck shirt, & shiny gold flats)!
These won’t last long so don’t delay!

on showing these absolutely gorgeous new pieces. Undoubtedly the star of this show is the over sized aquamarine oval Swarovski crystal! I’ve had these beauties for several months now carefully plotting their ultimate design destination. A small quantity of this crystal was purchased making this one of several new limited editions. See the Kiss & Tell Comb as well as the Kiss & Tell Bobby Pin right here. Enjoy!

A Side Swept Hair Style with Hairpins
Monday, July 20th, 2009Sometimes a certain style is my focus because my customers simply won’t have it any other way. Last week more than anything else we sold multiple sets of larger style hairpins. So I dug through my archive of photos and pulled out some photos from a shoot we did last summer in which we pulled long hair up into a side sweep and adorned with hairpins. The Plumeria flower below is actually attached to a very small comb but it’s essentially the same concept as a hairpin. I love the ear tuck here!
Below is the Anjou Bobby Pin a large star like shape made of large Swarovski pears. I love this design and wear the ring all the time!
Let me know if there is a particular hair style you are interested in seeing. We’ll be doing a photo shoot in a few weeks and would love to hear from you!
