Our newest fabric flower… the FIRST BLUSH flower comb. Hand made of layers and layers of silk, and a tuft of the softest blush tulle. Tuck in a side chignon, or request a brooch pin and wear as a corsage or on a sash at the waist. Perfect for the first day of summer.

New Naugi Design… A Very Pretty Silk Flower

We have a new pretty in our Flowers and Feathers line… the Material Girl Silk and Flower Comb. She’s a little sparkly, a little softly outlined with tulle, and just a little bit Art Deco inspired. Wear her anyway you like… pinned above the ear, tucked in the side of a chignon, or request an attached brooch pin and pin to a gown. I love this new piece! It’s shown in diamond white silk taffeta, however, one of my favorite new things to do is hand dye fabric, so if you’re looking for ivory let us know. Oh, and the simply gorgeous navy shirt with the jeweled collar is really vintage J.Crew… I’m thinking maybe it’s from almost a decade ago. Good things stick around, eh?

ONE OF A KIND from {Naugi}

Sometimes we just have a little… or maybe, it was so complicated that well, one was perfect. Today we are offering a very, very pretty silk chiffon flower, No.1025, with a magnificently jeweled center. It’s so lovely- the contract of the soft ivory fabric with the ultra sparkly center.

So pretty… it won’t last…

New from Naugi- a pretty silk hair flower named Sophie. It’s possible that for the next few weeks I’ll be wearing this silk flower, um… pretty much everywhere. Slid it in your hair, pin it to your shirt, dress, or my choice… my jean jacket. So feminine and gorgeous! Oh, and I’m just a little proud of the multitasking here…

Custom colors? Yes. We just got in a beautiful pale lavender, a muted yellow, and a crisp white. Just ask…

I’m not sure which I love more right now- doodling or making pretty sparkly flowers. Here we’ve got a bit of both. A new collection of Naugi flowers for the hair… and some doodling too. The most coveted hair accessory for the summer wedding is a gorgeous fabric flower, right? Honestly I don’t have a wedding to be at or in so I’ve just been clipping these flowers in my hair for no other reason than they are drop dead gorgeous and make me feel super pretty. Combine an impossible number of layers of silk chiffon and little tufts of french netting and the result is one of the loveliest creations ever. Really, it is one of my favorite new pieces. And my favorite placement… tucked right above the ear. Simple. Beautiful.

Little Gems and Romantic Flowers For the Hair

Inspired by the gorgeous spring we’re having I was furiously cutting fabric last week. The first of the pieces is the French Perfume Comb (the name comes from a rose variety). Lovely and romantic… it’s layer upon layer (almost half a yard) of gently splayed silk chiffon petals. It’s meant to move softly when walking- so dreamy and perfect for summer, and how much can I gush over the the insanely beautiful Swarovski crystal bauble cinching the fabric? I’ve had a box of these little oval gems for a while now just waiting for the perfect use. Love, love, love this!

Deco Society Collection

Aside from the design my favorite part about this collection is the name. I’m an art history buff so any references make me happy, thus we have the Deco Society collection of pieces. You know I’m not a big fan of feathers because they make me sneeze, but they are ethereal and pretty… and they really are in demand right now. I love the piece above tucked into the low side of a messy bun- you can just see a hint of the feathers from the front- very pretty.

If you prefer no feathers… the unadorned version.

I wear the gold and turquoise version of the Deco Society earrings all the time. Very pretty…
