We all need a little fun and whimsy in our lives. Polka dots are my fun of the week- it’s in the wedding details, vacation dreams, and my post baby dream skirt.

This is, by the way, the color I want in my new soon to be bedroom. However… how fabulous is this Sarah Seven dress. It really just makes me happy, and bursting for a reason to wear a version on this swiss dot beauty. Photography, Brandon Witzel.

I need no excuse whatsoever to love, and pine away for these Polka-Dot d’Orsays.

This Felix Rey clutch… use whatever excuse you need. A bag to carry {pass off} at your wedding works just fine for me.

Vacation dreams + floating in sun drenched water.

This Shabby Apple skirt is on my list, post baby of course. I wouldn’t mind sailing in it either.

How much would you love to have an after the wedding portrait done standing on top of a boat like this? It’s so beautiful and she looks so powerful and strong.

An Elopement

Photographer Jill Thomas and stylist Kami Christensen worked together to create this wedding styled after the theme of an elopement. And… I’m just in love. This dress is stunningly gorgeous and the ring bearer… well, let’s just say he reminds me a little bit of another four year old I know. So incredibly cute. I love the simplicity of the of the styling and the photography is gorgeous!

Bridal & Beyond – J.Crew Weddings Collection on Madison Avenue

J.Crew is one of my happy places. SO… to hear they’ve opened a store on Madison Avenue in NYC is very exciting. And, OH MY just looking at these photos makes me want to design a room in my house dedicated to pure prettiness. Love the orange screen peeking out in the background of the first picture. The gowns this season are really very luscious- beautiful textured fabric in soft colors. If you’re in the New York area you can now stop by at 769 Madison Avenue.
